Dr. Luke Leggo grew up in the small town of Drayton Valley, AB where he was active across multiple sporting platforms, with a particular passion for hockey. His engagement in the sporting environment sparked his interest in the field of rehabilitation medicine and he began his post-secondary journey. Dr. Luke graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2015. He then worked as a performance trainer and participated in research through the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine for two years, before moving to Toronto to complete the four-year Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Dr. Luke graduated from CMCC with Summa Cum Laude honors and was selected as the class Valedictorian by his peers.

Dr. Luke frequently engages in educational opportunities that expand his knowledge and enhance his skills for the betterment of his patients. He is a certified Functional Acupuncture provider, Canadian Red Cross First Responder, Complete Concussion Management trained and has completed the ALTIS: Performance Therapy course to refine his understanding of treating high performance athletes in the context of elite sporting environments.

Dr. Luke incorporates an active, individualized approach to patient care. He is passionate about helping his patients understand the unique intricacies of their injury and aims to provide them with the resources and confidence to manage the injury themselves. Dr. Luke works collaboratively with his patients in designing a treatment plan that is best suited to help them achieve their goals. He blends multiple treatment strategies, with a typical session involving exercise, patient education and passive therapies such as soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization/manipulation and acupuncture. Dr. Isaac Konrad was born and raised in Edmonton where his love for sports, exercise and all things movement developed. Dr. Isaac earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology with a major in Sports Performance at the University of Alberta and eventually moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue his chiropractic designation at the University of Western States. While completing his chiropractic studies Dr. Isaac was a member of the Rehab 2 Performance Club focusing on rehabilitative exercise and developed a special interest in treating low back, neck, and jaw pain. As part of his treatment style, Dr. Isaac is a firm believer that it is important to address the root cause of any issue, and to implement rehabilitative exercise as part of recovery, every step of the way. Using a variety of techniques such as adjusting, active muscle release, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy and McKenzie protocols, Dr. Isaac assists his patients in continuing to live their best life moving comfortably and pain-free.

In the summer, you can find Dr. Isaac on the soccer field, or the fairway. Not only does Dr. Isaac enjoy playing golf, but he has a passion for golf performance and is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) medical level 2 certified provider. Tendayi Tichiwanhuyi’s journey as a movement specialist started after completing a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology in South Africa. His passion for movement and rehabilitation science led him to work as an exercise therapist and personal trainer in both gym and clinic settings, before receiving his Registered Massage Therapy Diploma in Edmonton.

Melanie graduated from the Traditional Chinese Acupuncture Program offered through Reeves College in October 2014. By 2017, she was working at a clinic that included Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Massage. Melanie quickly learned how her scope of practice could blend with other modalities to create healing for clients not offered at the time. All of her passion and expertise in healing Musculoskeletal complaints arose from the four years at this clinic and she continues to learn and excel in this area.

Throughout her schooling, Dr. Meg was co-president of the Sport Performance Institute, serving athletes and educating peers about sport diagnostics and protocols. Life West was able to provide an extensive hands-on clinical experience that shaped Dr. Meg’s passion for Pediatrics and Perinatal care. During her time at Life West, Dr. Meg completed two life changing chiropractic service trips, in India & Tonga. The opportunity allowed her to focus on different communities, life altering diseases and injuries that not all practitioners may be able to have the opportunity to treat.
